CCC Polsat Polkowice signs Piotr Brożyna

Polish U23 Champion Piotr Brożyna signed with CCC Polsat Polkowice cycling team.

20-year-old rider will join Polish only ProContinental outfit to make first steps into his professional career and reinforce Polkowice-based squad that is expected to include more young riders in its ranks in 2015.

Brożyna spent the current season as a member of Spanish Telcom Gimex cycling team, presenting his prowess on a bike with solo win in national U23 road race championships in Sobótka. He also won Circuito de Nuestra and finished second in small stage race – Vuelta a Avila.

It’s worth mentioning that he is the son of Tomasz Brożyna, a former rider of US Postal (1996-97) and Banesto (2000-02), the winner of Tour de Pologne (1999) and Route du Sud (2000), currently working as a coach of Polish national U23 cycling team.
