Luke Keough (UnitedHealthcare) wygrał pierwszy etap Tour de Taiwan i objął prowadzenie w klasyfikacji generalnej.

Amerykanin na finiszu z peletonu pokonał Holendra Woutera Wippera (Drapac) i Greka Georgiosa Buglasa (SP Tableware).

Na 43. miejscu etap ukończył Paweł Cieślik (Bauknecht Author).
